Grant's Nintendo E3 hopes
I'm torn on what to think for Nintendo at this E3. Nintendo has been dominating the sales charts with casual games and has become a household name again with the Wii and DS. It is possible that we could see more casual games than most Nintendo fans feel comfortable with and some of the more serious games may take the turn of say, Donkey Kong JET. I wouldn't be surprised if even Mario Kart Wii turned out simplified. On the other hand, Nintendo has sold so many copies of Mario Kart DS and New Super Mario Bros because they are great games, not because they are just simple. Nintendo also just had a hit in japan with Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, which is catered to both newcomers and long time fans. I'm hoping Nintendo's future will be filled with both Wii Fitness and Fire Emblem, Face Training and a new 2D Metroid. I honestly don't know much of what to expect from Nintendo, so I'll write what I want to see.
-Animal Crossing Wii has cell shaded graphics. Uses Wii Connect 24 and internal storage to allow other users to access your town without your console being on.
-Face Training, Vision Training and Cooking Navi all coming to the US.
-A storage device for Wii.
-More Wii and DS connectivity. More features like game sharing between Geometry Wars Galaxies for Wii and DS.
-Pikmin Wii.
-Nintendogs Wii.
-SOMETHING NEW BY MIYAMOTO.
-Stage Debut!
-Release dates for Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Brothers.
-News on the Snatcher game by Suda 51 and Kojima.
-News on the 2D Metroid that was shown behind closed doors last year.
-Pilotwings for the Wii or DS.
-DS gains access to some of the virtual console.
-New controller colors (we should definitely see this)
-New DS colors for America.
-Pricing and dates for Neo Geo games on Virtual Console.
-Revised pricing for Genesis games on Virtual Console in the US.
-Some stuff

I hope we can at least have the option of using our Mii in Animal Crossing. Mine would look supremely unhappy all the time.

I was just thinking the other day how it would be foolish to NOT allow the use of your Miis in AC. They show up in Mario Party and Wario Ware, even...
I would love for them to take what they learned from Wii Sports Boxing and re-invent Punch-Out for the Wii. Punch-Out and Pilotwings are my two favorite franchies that haven't been revived since the SNES days (and I AM aware of Pilotwings 64, BTW).
